EA has pulled back the curtains on DICE’s next Battlefield project, and unlike its previous contemporary entries DICE is sending players back to the trenches of World War I. Enter the world of Battlefield 1.
Reportedly set in a slightly alternate history version of The Great War, this latest title will still feature combat on land, air, and sea. Thus far it seems like the title is slated for an October release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One with early access on the latter system through EA Access.
And while it’s too early to say what’s possible in the game, here’s hoping that players don’t find themselves in this situation down the line.
